AI Kid – School Based Editing Project
I am delighted to announce an editing project for upcoming soon novel AI Kid!
First stop: Year 5 pupils from Goldenhill Primary School. Following a whole-class analysis of chapter one, I will be working with a group of volunteers to review and edit extracts and chapters from the book.
Discussion will be focused around examining characters, scenes, and storylines – just like real editorial feedback!
It is an exciting opportunity for children to experience working like real-life editors, and for me to gain invaluable real-life feedback from my target audience. Examples of the children’s feedback and reviews will be posted her later, and I hope to be visiting other schools soon. Contact me if you think your school might like to take part!
October 2025 – AI Kid first draft finished! Way ahead of planned schedule! Very exciting!
